Avery's Angels are working very hard. It is amazing what love and faith can do :)
ReplyDeleteHi Avery's Angels.
ReplyDeleteGreat meeting last night. Glad to be a part of it. The meeting will not be at the church next week, as it has been determined that meeting at the church this soon is too soon. So, we'll be meeting at Lynne's house at 6:30pm next Monday, June 21st.
Mark Schofield said that we are all set to use the indoors of the church for food, baskets and restrooms, if it should rain. The restrooms may be used even if it doesn't rain. Also, the Fellowship church is hosting us, so we are insured under their umbrella. We will be giving Chris Anderson wheel packets to distribute to the youth group kids who can help out. He will also see if there is an interest in them helping us out on Fam. Fun Day.
Rita MacKinnon will designate Wheels for Avery at VBS for the free-will giving. Also, at their July meeting we have asked Rita to ask teens for their help on Family Fun Day.
Marilyn from the Fellowship said that we may use the plastic tables from the church (12 round, 6 oblong). There used to be 20 metal chairs available...can use them if we can find them. There are approx. 4 to 6 large trash containers that we can use from the church.
I'm looking into some kind of pro sports thing that is signed for the silent auction...Also a possible silk arrangement for the raffle...
I will also look into Comcast local Easton cable to adverise the Fam. Fun Day...
Thanks to everyone for their work...Gail Devins
Wait 'till you see the posters!!!! They look so great! A Huge thanks to Karen Olsen and Cheryl Blanchard!!!!
ReplyDeleteHIM who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine - Eph 3:20

ReplyDeleteThe below message was sent to me on Thursday!!!
ReplyDeleteI believe that God knows our NEEDS and answers prayers the way HE Wants to....it's HIS timing ...HIS plans...We are tools that God uses(God's people)!!! We have to be open to listen when God speaks!!!!
"Ms. Austin, if I were you, I would prepare to receive. The prayers have been raised to our Father. Your prayers will be answered, the needs will be met, everybody will be very happy. And the dream will be fulfilled. " Seek and you shall find, ask, and it shall be given unto you."...........it was already written ........ "
AMEN!!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Avery Angels,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great meeting we had last night!!
For those of you who could not make it and haven't heard the Great news!! Through grace and generosity the Austin's have been given a handicap vehicle ( late model).. from the
promoting and posters from this Fun Day fundrasier, a gentleman, a greiving dad, has donated a 1995 ford Wheelchair van to the Austin's.. How awesome is that!!!
The one condition this gentleman had is that all of the Fundrasier proceeds go to the Austin Famliy, Dr Jerry Haley of Houston Tx, will be bringing the van to the Austins in the begining of July...So We move forward, giving all the Glory to God for having a doctor in Texas hear about the great needs of this family... "The Spare Tire fund".... Is still wheels for Avery..
It will go to anything service, mantentce, insurance... Basically whatever need that is present or arises for the Austins.
We are in need of Silent Auction Items....
big and small, A few people are going to local easton and surrounding towns, requesting donations for this auction.. We are making them aware that this is a Community Fundrasier..
